Horowitz will remain Publisher, Furniture/Today

GREENSBORO, NC (May 9, 2016) – Dean Horowitz, Publisher, Furniture/Today will take on the additional role of President, Progressive Business Media (PBM), effective July 1st, 2016. Horowitz will transition into this role over the next few months with the guidance and assistance of current company president, Kevin Castellani, who as previously announced, will move into a senior business strategy role within Progressive Business Media. In his new position, Horowitz will be responsible for expanding and managing the nine PBM brands as well as the company’s other business units including Conferences and Events, Database and Audience Management, Digital and Web Strategies, Information Technology, Market Research, and Marketing Services. In addition to his new role, he will also continue to serve as Publisher, Furniture/Today reporting to Matthew Slaine, CEO, Progressive Business Media.

Prior to his role as Publisher, Furniture/Today, Horowitz served as Vice President at Amos Media and Chief Digital Revenue Officer for Vance Publishing, both located in Chicago. Previously, he spent 17 years at Reed Business Information, where he held a number of positions, including General Manager for the Construction Media Group’s multiple brands, Group Publisher, Publisher, and Director-level positions in Business Development, Digital Development, Product Development, and Strategy. Horowitz has a BFA from Rutgers University and has completed the Strategic Leadership Program at Harvard University School of Business. He and his family recently relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina where PBM is headquartered.
